After a six-month tour in Iraq a British Army unit received a suitable cool farewell present - a gift of ice cream from Ecolog, a military service provider.
The ice cream was the company's way of saying ‘good bye' to a loyal customer it had provided a range of sanitary, ecological and laundry services to over the past half-year.
Ecolog had earlier executed a major feat of logistics and planning. The company took five days to build a complete laundry with a capacity to serve more than 1,000 personnel at Camp Smitty near Basrah.
This coup was followed by the second - the ice cream surprise, just the finishing touch done by the high quality catering services of the company.
