First Ecolog Retirement

Released Date: 26/05/2009

As of 1 June 2009, Steven L. Arnold will be the first Ecolog member that will retire from his function as President of Ecolog USA, and afterwards will be supporting us as a Principal Advisor to the Board

Steve joined the Ecolog family in August 2007, after completing a glorious career with the US Army, which he left in the rank of Lieutenant General, and after completing a second career as a top official with KBR. Still affectionately referred to as “The General” he took it upon him to put Ecolog on the map of the USA. His tremendous track record, incredible network and his constant interaction and open communication allowed us to successfully have access to the U.S. market and transact our orders for the U.S. Army and our major US customers more efficiently and in closer customer proximity.

Ecolog wishes Steve a healthy and happy journey through the next phase of his life and sincerely hopes he will find the calmness to enjoy his retirement with his wife Susan in their home in Big Canoe, Georgia.

Personal note from the CEO:

With Steve’s departure, I will miss an extremely valuable person for Ecolog, but I find comfort in the fact that he will still be available to support me when required. My life has been enriched by this remarkable individual who has impressed me many times with his high personal standards, and ethical behavior and I am proud to call him a friend.

His vast knowledge and extremely pleasant personality has left me in awe numerous times. Many was the time that we, while visiting an event, were stopped by a “Hello General, how are you!” followed by a warm handshake and a generous introduction of my person to that individual. He always remembered the name of the individual, and never failed to say: “he (she) used to work for me when I was…”

Steve – I will miss you as a colleague but you deserve to take a step back. I am honored and very happy that you have agreed to assist us as required in the future. As I am an old Air Force Officer, I have to make a last stab at the Army and wish you Many Happy Landings on the Golf course.

God’s Speed,

John
