Ecolog International took part at AUSA 25th Anniversary.

Released Date: 14/10/2009

The Association of the United States Army (AUSA) held it’s 25th Anniversary National Symposium and Exposition in the Washington, DC Convention Center from the 5th thru the 7th of October 2009. Starting very early Sunday morning with the start of the Annual Army 10 Mile Road race, over 30,000 runners were off with a bang. Marc Lemmermann from the Dusseldorf office and Peder Cox from the US office were there to cheer them on as we were supporting the “Hooah Tent” from the Braxton Bragg Chapter of AUSA. Ecolog Runners get ready as we’re planning on fielding a team ourselves for next year’s event!

On Monday the 5th, promptly at 09:00, the exposition hall opened and we were there; ready to go in our booth as part of the German Technology & Defense pavilion. From the Dusseldorf office we had John Loeffen our CEO, Lumri Bexheti and Marc Lemmermann. From the US office we had Steven Arnold, Steve Sagehorn, Don Bruss and Peder Cox. Over the course of the next three days, over 100,000 visitors passed thru the exhibition hall and at times it seemed like they all came to our booth.

It was an exceptionally busy and very successful exhibition, with strategic meetings between our team and the senior management teams from many of our current and future partners. They were from Agility Logistics, DynCorp International, Flour, General Dynamics- Information Technology, KBR and Lear Sigler to name just a few of the key partners. This was our second time to participate in this event which is the largest military trade show and symposium in the western hemisphere and the third largest in the world. The event proved to be an outstanding opportunity to network and develop potential business opportunities. We look forward to returning again next year with an even bigger team and higher goals for success!

The Annual AUSA exposition is considered one of the world's largest and most important land power forums and brings together America's Army - Active, National Guard and Reserve, allied military forces, civilians and key corporations in the global defense industry.
